New scoreboard lights up Hamel

May 2023 marked a milestone with the addition of a video scoreboard at Paul Fortin Memorial Field, a first for Minnesota town teams.

Donated by the Hamel Lions Club, the scoreboard enhances the game-day experience with live video. “We’re still learning how to use it,” said General Manager Greg DeVos. The Hawks plan to showcase it fully in the 2025 season.
