Paul Fortin Memorial Field added a beautiful scoreboard in May 2023 courtesy of the Hamel Lions Club. To our knowledge, we are the only town team in Minnesota with a video scoreboard.
The Hawks are devoted to improving the playing surface to meet the standard set by world-class town ball fields throughout Minnesota. To reduce ‘Hamel hops’, we added sod along the outer edges of the infield. A sprinkler system was added to the outfield in April 2024.
