Hamel Senior Bluehawks take 1st Annual Robbinsdale WhizBang Tourney!

The Hamel Senior Bluehawks played 4 strong games to win the 1st Annual Robbinsdale Wizz Bang Tournament this past weekend.

Teams in the tournament were from the Robbinsdale senior league, Coon Rapids and Hopkins.

The boys beat the Robbinsdale Blue Jays 4-2 and Coon Rapids 20-1 to reach the semi finals, then defeated the Blue Jays again by a score of 6-3 to qualify for the championship game. The Bluehawks finished the tournament with a 9-6 nailbiter over the Robbinsdale Marlins.

A combined effort of great pitching, tough defense and hard hitting were needed by all to pull out the championship.
